Here, among the 1317 homes, are many residents who are living out their senior years without the presence of a spouse they had loved for decades. 2) A growing number of my professional colleagues, family members, and friends have suffered this kind of separation in life. Of course, Dee Dee and I are most thankful we are still together as a couple (now nearly 45 years) and have survived many challenges to our longevity both in life and in matrimony.
