HOA CLO* (where are you?)
During my nearly 40 years in nonprofit hospital fund-development, I often worked with continuing education types who had a role of teaching patients or staff, often both. In recent years, these careers have evolved and are now known as chief learning officers (CLO).
Whatever you call them, these are vital players going about the task of continuous quality improvement (CQI) for organizations all over the world.
As you will note in the post, even after 3.5 years of living in a homeowners association (HOA), I have yet to find the CLO for wither the local community or any of the communities served by our management company. This is not to say that such a person does not exist, if they do, but it does say that their presence is not obvious.
