(CALIFORNIA) Earthquake, fires, floods, mudslides, wind storms.  All of these are potential dangers to people and properties in the Golden State.  Any one of these disasters is a potential nightmare for any homeowner, but possibly worse for members of a common interest development (or HOA) where members have the individual and collective obligation to repair, replace and rebuild property to ensure survival of the association, even though no one but God and circumstance can grant survival to the homeowner.
