Cable spliced?

Flip②▶ STORIFY   ▶ Many consumers know from experience that some of the worst customer-relations stories come from the world of cable and satellite television companies.  Many (like us) have an account to share when service from these companies was sub-par, even belligerent or hostile.  That's why our most recent experience with TimeWarner Cable (TWC) was so remarkable.  Amazingly, our request for a rate reduction for our bundled service (cable TV, phone, internet) was honored.  Yes, the appeal took 45 or more minutes to accomplish with customer service before the new rate quote was provided. Still, mission accomplished, but for how long?  The rumored sale of TWC to Comcast may change things.
