*Re: DR = Disaster Recovery for Stone Canyon for Trilogy Glen Ivy.  Here, we embark upon a series of posts on this topic for the primary benefit of the 170 homeowners in this condo community special benefit area, the location where the blogger archivist happens to reside.  Follow the stream of comments, posts, and links to see why this topic has become a common interest development within this HOA. ▶ WHY DOES EARTHQUAKE INSURANCE FOR STONE CANYON REQUIRE A MEMBERSHIP VOTE? A CA condo conundrum: EQI

If you have been to the California Earthquake Authority  (CEA) website, you well realize the efforts of this quasi-governmental nonprofit to spur the marketing of earthquake insurance (EQI) in California.  Data at the CEA site explains that only about 12 percent of Californians actually have EQI at the present time.  It is almost impossible to find statistics on how many California condo owners have EQI, but it stands to reason that the percentages are less than the 12 percent number.  That's largely due to the fact that condo owners (because of the association factor) are disadvantaged in this marketplace, as the following video will attest.  ▶ Flip②▶  STORIFY  ♥  FLIPBOARD  ★  BLOGGER ▲ ALTACITIES  ® ▶  TWITTER See more in the 'social current see' with   3,800+ followers  on  FLIPBOARD   and the other media links noted above [ View the story "A CA condo conundrum: EQI" on Storify ]
